Most people on California's central coast do not think about Rehabilitation Institute at Santa Barbara (RISB) until they, a family member, or a friend require its services. Then, at the time of crisis, the impact of the Institute's unique local specialty care becomes clearly evident.

Thankfully, the best in medical rehabilitation is available at RISB. Without the Institute, you or a loved one or a friend would need to travel to Los Angeles or San Francisco for services of comparable quality.

To ensure that the Institute remains a vital provider for future generations, the Board of Directors is undertaking a fundraising campaign to erase all remaining construction debt from our new facility, enhance equipment and services, and secure an endowment fund for the future.
