Arthritis

The arthritis program at Rehabilitation Institute at Santa Barbara (RISB) offers comprehensive services for people whose functional abilities have been affected by arthritis (osteoarthritis, psoriatic, rhematoid), hip fractures, joint replacement, orthopedic conditions, osteoporosis, spine disfiguration as well as balance, rheumatologic or musculoskeletal disorders. Medical services are provided through all levels of care including inpatient and outpatient therapy, and include exercise and support programs, as well.

Specialty services and programs offered at the Institute include physical, occupational, and aqua therapy. RISB also periodically provides health education classes to help people with arthritis live more independent and fulfilling lives.
